After studying and working as an occupational therapist for several years, I decided to expand my skills and expertise by becoming a psychologist. My varied professional experiences share some commonalities and have allowed me to develop my interest in listening, understanding people, being present and mindful, seeing people from a holistic perspective, and exploring what gives meaning to life. While I don’t know the specific challenges you are facing, I know first-hand some of the pressures that face graduate students, traditional, and non-traditional students. I’d be curious to hear what you are facing. I would like to offer you a free phone consultation so that we can determine if we are a good therapeutic match. Many of the students I work with are kind, hardworking, and thoughtful—but they’re also exhausted. They often feel anxious, overwhelmed, or like they’re constantly falling behind no matter how hard they try. Some struggle with focus, motivation, or staying organized—especially those dealing with ADHD symptoms like mental fog, procrastination, or racing thoughts that make it hard to relax or keep up with school. Others are managing perfectionism, body image concerns, trauma, or health issues that are hard to talk about with friends or family. If you’re feeling burned out, stuck, or like your emotions are too much to handle on your own, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. I offer a supportive space where we can sort through what’s going on and help you feel more grounded, confident, and capable. Sessions are fully virtual for Pennsylvania residents, and I offer flexible scheduling, accept several insurance plans, and provide sliding scale options to keep therapy accessible.
