For nearly 20 years, I have worked with adolescents and young adults who have anxiety, mood disorders, gender identity issues, family conflicts and trauma from many different backgrounds. There is no single case that is identical to another, and everyone has their own unique story. I want to hear your story so that I may join your journey to heal. My main approaches are CBT, Family Systems Theory, EMDR, and somatic approaches. I also incorporate Eastern philosophy and focus on the mind-body connection to assist clients in understanding their challenges and rediscovering their authentic selves. As a person who came to the United States as a teen, I personally understand the pressure to succeed, the challenges to navigate the US college system, and the loneliness that limited resources and guidance that first generation college students go through. I have also advocated for people of color and the LGTBQ+ population in an effort to improve equality and deal with human rights issues many years. I strive to provide a safe environment for all of my clients without judgment. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

I am passionate about helping individuals on their path to self-discovery and leading a genuine and authentic life. Drawing upon my background in counseling and neuroscience, I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and existentialism into my approach. I also offer Psychedelic Harm Reduction and Integration therapy. I aim to help individuals cultivate openness, awareness, and engagement with themselves, their loved ones, and the world around them. By incorporating meditation, relevant literature, art, and nature, I aim to create a holistic therapeutic experience. These elements enrich the exploration of subjective experiences, self-perception, and the profound aspects of existence. ACT emphasizes acceptance of one's thoughts, emotions, and experiences, while also encouraging commitment to taking meaningful action aligned with one's values. In our sessions, I guide individuals to develop psychological flexibility, allowing them to respond more effectively to life's challenges and pursue a rich and purposeful life. While I am excited to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, I have a special interest in supporting those who experience chronic conditions such as pain, grief, psychosis, and trauma. Together, we will delve into meaningful discussions about topics like death, identity, and the transformative potential within each person's existence.

Hi, and Welcome! College is an exciting time, but it can also bring its share of challenges. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, academic stress, self-doubt, life transitions, or identity questions, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to navigate it alone. I specialize in helping students like you find clarity, confidence, and balance. With experience working with high achievers, I understand the unique pressures of managing success and expectations. During my year-long doctoral practicum at Carnegie Mellon University’s Counseling Center, I worked closely with college students navigating similar struggles. Now, I support professionals like physicians, medical residents, and executives, helping them tackle life’s challenges while staying true to their goals and values. My approach is warm, affirming, and tailored to your needs. My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow. If you’re considering reaching out, I’m here to make the process as easy and accessible as possible. I’m happy to answer any questions and support you every step of the way. You’ve already taken the first step by exploring your options—let’s work together to help you feel more confident and capable.
You may look like you have it all together yet inside you feel anxious, exhausted, or like you’re never “enough.” The need to be “perfect”, frequent memories of past traumatic experiences, or challenges navigating unfulfilling relationships may have left you feeling disconnected from yourself and who you believe you truly are. You want to feel present, more confident, and at peace with yourself - to stop just “surviving” and start healing. My approach is rooted in EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness-based therapies, aiming to help release the emotional charge of painful memories while gaining greater self-awareness, compassion, and balance. Together, we’ll work to heal old wounds, quiet self-doubt, and cultivate a more grounded, fulfilling life. You don’t have to carry the weight of “having it all together” anymore. In doing the work, you can reconnect with your strength and rediscover peace within yourself. If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out. Healing can begin with one courageous step.

I have worked in various settings with various populations; no need to be embarrassed, ashamed, or worried of anything you might share. I'm here with you through it all and will provide you with understanding, reassurance, and encouragement. My work with a wide range of clients, and my personal struggle with chronic health issues, gives me a special understanding for others who may be experiencing loss, trauma, depression, anxiety, fear, adjustment issues, and relationship challenges. I use a person-centered approach to counseling, with techniques drawn from CBT, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and existential theory. In listening to your story and gaining an understanding of your goals and values, I can help you problem-solve and create unique ways to help you navigate life’s challenges. If the idea of starting therapy is bringing up feelings of fear, anxiousness, or uncertainty, I challenge you to try thinking about it as an exciting opportunity to put the pieces of your life together, make sense of what isn’t working, and allow space for the best version of you to manifest. I also specialize in perinatal mental health (pregnancy, post-partum, fertility, loss) and in working with parents of children of all ages. Most people I work with choose online therapy, and some meet with me in the office. As a member of PSYPACT I can often continue to work with you online while you visit home or work/study outside of PA. (For participating states: https://psypact.org/page/psypactmap)
