I’m happy you’ve taken that first step and found your way here. I understand it’s not easy to seek out support. Therapy is unique to each person, but some themes I have noticed people are seeking out are an understanding of their emotions, an improved ability to cope and function and feeling more empowered about their individual situations. I also specialize in and offer years of expertise supporting individuals around issues related to parenting, identity development, LBGTQIA+ identities and life transitions. The space I provide is welcoming, gentle and warm. My approach is person-centered and eclectic at its core. I am thoughtful and attentive in finding ways to make therapy accessible and meaningful. I primarily use talk therapy and am skilled at incorporating creativity, coping skills and mindfulness into my work to make therapy individualized to your needs. My hope for you is that you realize your own strength and ability to be the driving force in determining what success means to you in therapy. I believe in your ability to be your own expert and to find your own strength and awareness to promote your personal growth and healing. I’m here to support you and meet you where you are on life’s journey.
Hello! I have been fortunate to have worked with a diverse array of client populations throughout my career, but currently specialize in and am passionate about working with college students, young adults, LGBTQ+, and BIPOC women. My clinical areas of specialty and expertise include anxiety, depression, ADHD, family dynamics, social/relationship challenges, and academic and life transitions.
Hi there! I'm Heather, a proud Nurse Practitioner. I have been in practice as a prescriber since 2023, and worked in the mental health field in various settings for more than a decade prior as an RN. I work across the lifespan and with a variety of conditions. (Please note that at this time I am not prescribing controlled substances.) I believe in shared decision making and a person-centered approach to care; we're a team! I have a kind but direct approach to discussions and am solution-focused. I believe that medications are a tool, not a fix, so we will talk about a variety of interventions to support your wellness. You can expect that I will ask about your goals for care, and life, and that we will work together to meet those goals. I will sometimes assign "homework" to continue interventions outside of sessions in addition to any medication changes we may decide to make.
I’m a clinical social worker with over 10 years of experience supporting individuals through some of life’s most challenging moments. I earned my undergraduate degree from Quinnipiac University and went on to complete my Master of Social Work at Boston University School of Social Work in 2015. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients navigating depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance use. I came into this field because I genuinely value the process of helping people better understand themselves and create meaningful change in their lives. I know that reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming, and I don’t take for granted the trust it takes to share your story with someone new. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, respected, and truly heard—without judgment. My approach to therapy is pragmatic, individualized, and grounded in your unique strengths. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, I work collaboratively with each client to understand what’s most important to them and to develop tools and strategies that feel realistic and useful in everyday life. Whether we’re working through patterns of anxiety, processing past trauma, or addressing substance use, I aim to balance insight with practical steps forward.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in understanding and meeting you where you are. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide a safe, supportive space where we can explore and address your concerns together. I am an LGBTQ+ therapist supporting adults. Whether you are coming to therapy to make a change, make sense of yourself or past experiences, or simply want someone to listen to you, I provide a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space for you to explore your life, relationships and concerns. Whatever your goals, I will guide you through the process and together we will try to understand any repetitive patterns of unfulfilling behaviour and gain insight into how past experiences have come to shape present-day experiences. I also work full-time as a therapist supporting undergraduate and graduate students at Harvard University helping them navigate challenges associated with mental health, academics, and relationships. I believe the single most important aspect of successful therapy is the quality of the relationship between therapist and client. I therefore invite you to sit down with me in a relaxed way so we can talk. I can help you make better sense of your experiences, thoughts and feelings. Together we can discover meanings, recognise patterns, and explore options.
