I am a mental health and addiction counselor who has experienced the impact of mental health issues on myself, my family, my friends, and my community. I understand the importance of a safe, nonjudgmental space for exploration, introspection, and healing. I enjoy using creative modalities in conjunction with traditional theoretical frameworks to allow clients to explore challenges and questions from multiple perspectives. I bring experience, compassion, and advocacy to mental health, addiction, and recovery. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults. I use a sense of curiosity and the gifts my spiritual and scholastic mentors have given me to help guide my clients on their journey of discovery. A current curiosity has led me to an increased understanding of the neuroscience behind addiction and how the mind interacts with our bodies and the world around us. I believe everyone has a chance at discovering themselves and finding a fulfilling path in life no matter what your background. If you want to discover your true self, build coping skills to help with sobriety, depression, or anxiety, or if you need help processing trauma, please reach out for a free initial consultation.

Life sometimes places us in situations that we feel we may not be able to handle alone. As your therapist it would be my honor to join you in navigating the challenges you face. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ related issues, Anxiety, OCD, GAD, Agoraphobia, Panic Disorder, ADHD, ASD, and Depression. I am also currently accepting clients in search of Pre-Surgical Evaluation for Gender Affirming Surgery (GAS) Regardless of your presenting concern, I approach therapy as a collaboration that allows us each to share our expertise; mine in psychological theory and your expertise in yourself and your unique needs. This philosophy shapes our therapy space as we determine what type of environment works best for you, whether that be more structured or free-flowing. Sessions may range from activities that target specific behaviors to more broad discussions about your overall life and sense of self to help us better understand your experience. It is my firmest belief that everyone is capable of change. My role is to help you explore what that looks like for you and to help you to live a happier and more fulfilled life.

I am a Licensed Psychologist with experience providing psychological evaluations and psychotherapy to adolescents and adults, specializing in the assessment and treatment of generalized anxiety, depression, work and school difficulties, and ADHD. I have considerable experience working with college students in hospital, private practice, and college/university counseling center settings.
I work best with students who look like they’re holding it together but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck on the inside. Many of the students I support are managing academic pressure, burnout, self-doubt, or the impact of past experiences while trying to keep up with school, work, and relationships. With nearly a decade of experience in mental health settings, I help students slow things down, make sense of what they’re feeling, and build tools that actually help in day-to-day life. Therapy with me is supportive, practical, and collaborative—a space where you don’t have to have it all figured out to get started.
Individual counseling is a team effort between the client and counselor. Therapists use a personal and independent approach to identify clients goals, and work along side them to develop the self-awareness and skills it takes to reach their goals. We work closely with each individual to empower them to produce change and help them live more fulfilling lives again. Our hope is that you will experience the freedom and healing you desire while growing in deeper understanding of who you are. We also offer couple, group, family or addictions counseling!
