Noelani Perkins
I strive to offer a space where marginalized voices have a say in their healing. My heart lies with those who feel disconnected from the people around them; who don't typically see identities like theirs accepted in society; and who are navigating cultural integration. Whether you’re feeling heavy and void of motivation, caught in relational and personal distress, or wondering what makes you “you” I want to listen and support you every step of the way. I work with individuals experiencing life transitions, exploring their identity and place in the world, and those who really just need a space to say the socially unacceptable and just "be."
I offer an integrative space using an emotion-focused, bodily-aware, and person-centered approach. My hope and goal in our work together is to provide an empathic space where we can explore unhelpful patterns, get down to the roots of your emotions, and figure out what's blocking you from living the life you desire. Sometimes this may look like talking, other times it may look like incorporating art and movement -- wherever you are and whatever you need, we'll figure it out together.
Going to therapy can feel overwhelming and daunting and in a time where we so often feel unseen and uncared for, I want to offer a warm and caring space for you to feel welcomed and seen. If you're ready to take the next step, I invite you to reach out. You can message me directly or schedule a free meet-and-greet to see if we'd make a good fit!
