Jess Walsh
Jess Walsh is a Certified Nurse-Midwife and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience empowering women to thrive. Jess blends her expertise in full-scope women’s health—spanning pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum care, perimenopause, and hormone management—with integrative and evidenced based psychiatric mental health care and lifestyle medicine. Her mission is to guide clients toward mental clarity, physical vitality, and emotional balance with compassionate, personalized care that addresses the whole person.
Jess's professional journey has taken her to Alaska, Oregon, and Arizona and has included catching babies in high risk obstetrical practices, out-of-hospital and home birth settings, serving Alaska’s Indian Health Service, and teaching medical residents. Her recent post-master’s training in Psychiatric Mental Health expands her ability to support all clients through life’s emotional and psychological challenges. Before midwifery, Jess was an alpine mountaineering, rock and ice climbing guide. She brings that same empowering spirit to her practice, helping clients navigate their health journeys with strength and resilience.
Jess has specialized training in women's health and hormone management for perimenopause and menopause, complex perinatal and postpartum psychiatry, as well as psychiatric care for people over 13 years of age. Jess has also pursued additional training in integrative women's health, perinatal and postpartum fitness coaching, nutrition and lifestyle medicine, polycystic ovarian disorder management, and the emerging field of psychedelic medicine. Jess has also received extensive education in the fields of philosophy and religious studies, which serve as a framework for her practice.
Married for over 20 years and a mother of four, Jess finds joy in hiking with her family, chasing adventures in far-flung destinations, competing in endurance sports, and dancing to live music. Her vibrant energy and deep commitment to her craft make her a trusted partner for clients seeking to optimize their health and live boldly.
