Dean Psychological & Well-Being Associates
Provider Types
This is a clinic or agency with multiple providers, including:
- Psychologists
I see adults, adolescents, and families with concerns around anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, life transitions, and issues around disability. I work with you to identify the areas in which you are feeling stuck or overwhelmed and help you gain the skills to move through those problems and get you back into your life. I also work with people from rural areas and recognize the unique differences that living in a rural area has on mental health concerns.
My approach is a holistic blend of Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (ACT), and Internal Family Systems (IFS), recognizing that every individual and family is unique. I am also Geek Therapy certified, which utilizes pop culture, movies, comics, games, and fandoms to help make therapy more engaging for clients who are interested in changing up their therapy.
If you have been going through mental health issues, working with a disability (both personally or within your family), or have been trying to get a handle on ADHD I know how exhausting that can be and how much of your life that can take up. Let's talk about what we can do together to help you feel better.
Outside of my practice, I enjoy gaming of all types, exploring Pittsburgh, connecting with friends, and taking road trips across the country. Before becoming a therapist, I served in the Montana Army National Guard, had a career in sales, and worked with individuals and families regarding disability.
