Alaina Klause
Starting therapy can be an overwhelming process; you took the first step! I am happy you are here. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a person-centered, humanistic approach that fosters an environment in which individuals can feel safe, seen, and heard. I am Health at Every Size (HAES) aligned and gender-affirming clinician. The relationship is the most important aspect of the therapeutic work.
My primary experience is working with individuals struggling with eating disorders/disordered eating, body image, depression, trauma, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. My style is integrative, with each therapeutic experience tailored to your individual needs.
Together, we will work towards personal and collaborative goals to build awareness, resiliency, recognize strengths, and promote growth. The foundation of our sessions is authenticity; guided by the definition “to be true to one’s personality, spirit or character”. If interested, or on the fence, we can schedule a consult to see if it is a good fit!
